Who it suits

Families who want a plug-in hybrid SUV that can also fast charge. It has an 18.4 kWh battery for about 90 km of electric range, charges on DC at up to 50 kW (about 27 minutes for 30 to 80%), makes 265 kW, and the battery warranty is 8 years / 160 000 km.

Who should look elsewhere

Buyers watching the price or relying on the electric range. At about R780 000 it costs more than the Haval H6 plug-in hybrid and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, which claim similar electric range, and the test behind the 90 km is not stated. We have not found the boot size or seat count.
